We haven’t measured enough cars crossing this stage to quote a number — in practice it tends to pass between two daily checks of BMW’s feed.

What it means

The car has reached the dealer’s hands — the long-haul leg is behind it, and it’s in the domestic network, allocated and en route to (or arriving at) your BMW Center.

Where these numbers come from. Stage times are measured on the iX3 fleet this site tracks daily — real observed transitions, measured since 2026-08-17, not estimates. The status codes themselves are BMW-wide: every US order walks the same pipeline, so the meanings hold for any model; exact durations vary by plant and route. BMW publishes only the current status — codes occasionally step backwards when a car is re-sequenced, and that usually sorts itself out in a day or two. Not affiliated with BMW.
